Giving Tuesday
- December 3rd

We are in crisis! There's no better way to put it. Low cost Spay and neuter is hard to fine, adding to the overpopulation, crowding shelters and rescues.

All Shelters and Rescues are way over capacity and so are we! Forever homes are hard to find with so many animals looking for homes and help. We're low on funds, because donations are down…We may be down, but we are not out, our work can't end. We can't let the animals down, just because there's no room and no money to treat them. In the spirit of GivingTuesday and the holiday season, please help us and the animals we care for! Any amount will help.

GivingTuesday falls on December 3rd, four days after Black Friday and the day after Cyber Monday. We ask that, if at all possible, you try to spend just a tiny bit less on those days, so that you can give a tiny bit to us. That’s all we ask… If we can get enough people to give us a small amount, we can get through catch up with our expenses.

We also know that some of you are struggling too, so if you're not in the position to donate, you can also help by sharing our campaign with others you think might want to help. Please let them know we are making a difference in the lives of our rescued animals!

Somehow, we always find a way to make it through for the benefit of those precious souls. Sometimes it almost seems impossible and we look back and wonder how we got by. Then we quickly remember, our miracle is you!

PLEASE IF YOU FEED THEM FIX THEM!!

ave the Animals Rescue Team is hoping you will join GivingTuesday, on November 29th 2022. Yes, your contribution will help our local animals and will make an impact, whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. This year, GivingTuesday is celebrating the 10th anniversary of a simple idea created in 2012: a day that encourages people to do good and help others.

For the last 3 years, COVID has devastated our fundraising efforts and our efforts to rescue animals. It's not over!
At first, our in-person fundraising was cancelled and now it's limited. Then as COVID started winding down and people started getting back to a somewhat normal life. Many had no more need for the animals they adopted during the pandemic and started dumping them at shelters, who quickly went to capacity. And to make matters worse, this new freedom for people lost us a bunch of fosters, so we've been at capacity, with more animals than ever in our care.

We're hurting, but our work can't end.
START needs for your help on GivingTuesday, our work never ends!... Most of our in-person fundraising, which we heavily rely on, has been limited. These are unprecedented times and people seem to be abandoning and/or abusing their pets more than ever. We are overflowing with cats and kittens! We wouldn’t stop saving the fur kids. Our work is too important to stop!

It is START’s mission to prevent cruelty, promote spay/neuter, and to encourage awareness through education, while also teaching respect for all animals and the environment they live in.

As always thank you for your support. Happy #GivingTuesday START, Save the Animals Rescue Team.

Thank you for your support.

S.T.A.R.T.
